BRAKES

The braking system is used for stopping the car, reducing its speed and immobilizing at a standstill. The smooth operation of the braking system is significant because of our security. Most manufacturers recommend regular inspection of the brakes. One should check the front brakes frequently (every 15 000 km). They are more burdened and wear out quickly. Rear brakes can be checked once every 30 000 km. One should also check the quality of brake fluid and replace it every two to three years.

We offer:

• Exchange of brake discs
  Brake discs have to be exchanged when their thickness is below the minimum specified by the manufacturer, they are damaged or lost their geometrical surface parameters. Always replace them in pairs – on both wheels of one axle. When you replace the discs, the brake blocks should be exchanged as well.
• Regeneration of the brake disc
  In some cases the replacement of discs is not necessary (they have the appropriate thickness), it is enough to regenerate them by rolling
• Replacement blocks / brake shoes
  Replace them when the thickness of the friction lining decreases below the minimum, or when the damage occurs (crack, chipping, crumbling). They should be replaced if their sealing system does not work well or warms up.
• Exchange of brake lines
  You should replace them immediately if their condition shows any abrasion, mechanical damage or corrosion. Rupture of the brake lines causes the system to unseal and the brakes no longer work.
• Exchange of the brake cylinders
  They should be replaced if their sealing system does not work well or they warm up
• Regeneration of the brake calipers
  If the brake caliper leaks or the guides are blocked or the brake caliper does not work properly and, as a result, the wheel does not brake or even vice versa is blocked. All the aforementioned problems can be removed immediately in our workshop.
